Andy MacDonald was in Maine last week as a speaker in Verizon Wireless' program Str8 Tlk. After speaking at 4 schools (including Bath Middle School!), Andy came to check out our skaterpark and meet local skaters. From 10-11 he skated with a group of contest winners - 12 lucky folks who got some one-on-one time with Andy. At 11 we opened things up to everyone and Andy found time to work with everyone in the skatepark - from our most advanced skaters to our first-timers. At the end of the day, Andy signed autographs (hey guys, will you ever wash your foreheads?) and gave away some awesome prizes, including a skateboard, helmet and cell phone. Andy, thanks for a great day at The Park - we hope to have you back again soon! |

Skaters from Gould Academy, Carrabassett Valley Academy, Oxford, Bath, and others from across the state came and competed in the Schooled Series street, bowl, and mini pipe competition. Click title to check out the results and so (not the best quality) pics.
The Park's Bath Am 2009 was a great turnout for such a wonderful day. Skaters from all over Maine came to throw down some amazing tricks to vie for that covented 1st place trophy. Click here to see the results!

A dozen benefactors helped make
scrumptious dishes including turkey, ham, and green bean casserole
for The Park's Second Annual Holiday Potluck this past Saturday,
December 27. This year's event fed over 50 participants a hot,
healthy meal.
The Park and its staff would like to pass on special thanks to all those who made this year's event a great success!
