Skate in the parade, eat at the 6th Annual Chili/Chowder Fest, and come to the Skate Jam!

Heritage Days Parade on Friday, July 4th  The Park will be walking/skating with the Art Van and Kaboom DJS.  We are #s 42 & 43 in the parade route order.  We will be lined up on Oak Grove Avenue. The parade begins at noon, but we ask that skaters/walkers be at our starting location on Oak Grove Ave. no later than 11:45 AM.  Roadside Parade Volunteers will be easily visible and available at regular intervals with a list of corresponding number assignments and locations.  Skaters can be picked up at the skatepark after the parade.  The parade will happen rain or shine!  If it is warm, please be sure to dress in cool clothing – water bottles are highly encouraged.  All skaters must be wearing helmets and shirts during the parade.  FMI, be in touch with Claire Berkowitz.  Download permission slip here.

6th Annual Chili/Chowder Fest Saturday July 5th from 5-7 PM  Come down to Library Park to sample chowder and chili from area restaurants and caterers.  $10 for adults, $8 for Senior Citizens adn $5 for kids under 10 and under.  Live music and more!  All proceeds benefit the skatepark.

Skate Jam on Sunday, July 6th @ 3 PM  Skateboarding competition including Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Divisions.  Also a cash prize best trick competition.  Registration begins at noon and the fee to enter is $15.
