The Park is a fun place to hang out because there is nowhere like this for kids in Bath. We get to practice our skating and stuff, it’s just really fun. And the people who work here are really nice. If there was no skatepark I would just be sitting at home trying to find stuff to do. My dad works at night and sleeps during the day so I have to be really quiet and I like having a place to go with my friends where we can be loud and have a good time, just being kids.

The Park is a great place to skate and hang out. I would skate in the street and probably get in trouble if there was no Park, and yeah, I’d be pretty bored.

It’s a place to hang out at after school, just chill and skate in your free time to get better, be with friends. If there was no Park I’d just sit on my butt and play Xbox.

I’ve been coming here since I was like 6 years old and skating. I came here more before I had Xbox, but I still come almost every day to see my friends and hang out a bit. I’d be pretty bummed if there was no Park.

The Park means a lot to me, probably without it I wouldn’t be where I’m at with my riding ability. It’s helped me progress as a rider, meet cool people to ride with and travel with, and helped me get recognized and get a sponsorship. I’d be out on the streets riding and getting in trouble for riding if the Park wasn’t around.

It means everything, everything, everything. I don’t like skating on the streets, I like skating here. It’s really fun and the stair set rocks. I’ll be really mad if it closes because I’d have to drive all the way to Rye just to skate. I just really don’t want this place to shut down.

The Park means a lot to me. I’ve been coming here since 2006 and there are a lot of good people here. It helps make people meet new friends and it can help showcase your talents at skateboarding and biking, people have even gotten sponsored because of this place. It would be very upsetting for me if it closes because this is a common spot for us to hang out. The Y charges money and has more strict rules, you just can’t have as much fun there.

It’s a place for me to get out of the house and hang out with friends. I like coming here because it’s something different than video games and places where you have to pay to hang out. I’d be so depressed if it closed because there is no place downtown to chill without disturbing other people or feeling in the way.

The Park means so much to me. It’s helped me get through some of the darkest times in my life. I started coming here sporadically in the 8th grade. I began to warm up to the establishment, it felt like a second home. With the help of Lisa Holland I have been able to overcome many of my anxieties. When I first started coming here I could barely make eye contact with people and with Lisa’s help telling me to smile at people every day, I am now able to smile at people first and put myself out there. This place has helped shape who I am today and I’d be very sad if it was to cease to exist because of the people who are what I used to be. They need help too.

The Park means a lot to me. I’ve only been coming here for a few weeks and I feel like I’m very close to everyone already. I would hate to see it close down and not see the kids here have a place to skate, make friends and just have fun. There are many different types of people here, yet no one excludes anybody… we’re like one big family.
